Ana Valdez, our Principal and Co-Founder, is an American business, media and political consultant. She was born and raised in Mexico City, studied and worked in Spain, Switzerland and the U.S., and currently lives in Los Angeles, California.

After graduating in business from the prestigious Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico, Ana was the third woman ever hired to be a Client Service Executive in the history of AC Nielsen Mexico. She earned the title of Nielsen’s Executive of the Year two years in a row, and then segued to a position as Chief of Staff at Banamex (now Citibank), Credit Card Business Division, where she additionally overlooked the newly founded slate of International Financial Products, and the Public Relations Department.

After finishing her Master’s Degree in International Relations in Madrid, Ana worked at the United Nations Organization in Geneva, in the Human Rights Commission. Several years later, she moved to Washington, D.C., to work in the Clinton/Gore re-election campaign, and after a stint at the White House in the Office of Presidential Personnel, she received a Presidential Appointment from Bill Clinton to act as a Special Assistant for Latin America at the US Department of Energy.

In 1997 she moved to Los Angeles and began officially blending her multiple passions, media, marketing and politics, becoming and expert in building bridges for clients that are reaching out and working with the Hispanic community and all emerging communities: she knows and is part of the multi-layered, multicultural Latino market, and the Hispanic world on both sides of the border.

She along with her husband Jeff started Valdez Productions Inc. to create media content, media platforms, and strategies that serve the new multicultural American market, both in English and Spanish. The company has produced TV shows, launched the national cable channel SiTV, created political campaigns, and advised a diverse group of companies and organizations in reaching out to the new mainstream. Some of her clients have been  Summit Entertainment, Fox Channel 11, SiTV-NuvoTV, Bill Richardson for US President Campaign, Dolores Huerta Foundation, Los Angeles Universal Preschool, Latino Donor Collaborate, Children’s Bureau, Latino Donor Collaborative, and others.

Ana has also been on-the-air Political and Media Analyst for Fox11TV, and a blogger for MyFoxParents.com
